Improvement bond to enhance the health and wellness of our community by constructing and expanding a multi-use trail system, splash pad, and to replace the essential aquatic filtering system. Sandy Beach plans will include new restrooms, an open-air pavilion, 4 lit regulation sand volleyball courts, and an area for concessions.

Bonds of the City of Heber Springs in the maximum principal amount of $4,265,000 for the purpose of financing all or a portion of the costs of the park and recreational facilities and improvements and any furnishings, equipment, utility adjustments, and lighting, parking, landscaping, signage and drainage improvements related thereto and, in order to pay the bonds, the levy and pledge of a 0.625% local sales and use tax within the City, which will replace an existing 0.625% sales and use tax levied in 2006 for the sole purpose of retiring bonds.
